چکیده
Understanding the genetic basis of trait variation is crucial for designing effective plant breeding programs. This study evaluated genetic parameters, including broad-sense heritability (h²), genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV), phenotypic coefficient of variation (PCV), genetic advance (GA), and genetic advance as a percentage of the mean (GAM), for 12 physiological and agronomic traits across nine rapeseed genotypes. Results revealed substantial variation in genetic parameters among traits, with net photosynthetic rate (h² = 99.37%, GAM = 64.77%), number of siliques (h² = 98.03%, GAM = 61.74%), and harvest index (h² = 96.61%, GAM = 42.67%) showing the highest heritability and genetic advance values. These traits, characterized by high heritability (>90%) and high genetic advance (>20%), indicate predominantly additive gene action and present excellent opportunities for selection in breeding programs. Conversely, chlorophyll content traits exhibited lower heritability (56.43-62.52%) and genetic advance (5.95-6.15%), suggesting greater environmental influence and limited immediate selection potential. Stomatal conductance traits demonstrated high heritability (93.75-94.90%) with moderate to high genetic advance (24.98-32.54%), indicating good breeding potential. The partitioning of genetic and environmental variability revealed that net photosynthetic rate and silique number are predominantly under genetic control, whereas chlorophyll content traits are substantially influenced by environment. These findings provide critical insights for prioritizing traits in rapeseed breeding programs and designing selection strategies based on trait heritability and genetic potential.
