About conference
9th National and 1st International Conference of Plant Physiology of Iran will be held from January 31 to February 2, 2026, at the University of Guilan. The conference aims to create a platform for scientific exchange and collaboration in the field of plant physiology. It offers an opportunity to present new research findings, share applied achievements, exchange experiences among academia and experts, and promote cooperation among researchers, professionals, and stakeholders in this scientific domain.
The conference is organized in collaboration with the Iranian Society of Plant Physiology and will be held in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual). The event provides a valuable setting for scientists, faculty members, students, and specialists from across Iran and other countries to contribute to the advancement of plant physiology.
The Scientific Secretary of the conference is Dr. Masoud Esfahani, a faculty member at the University of Guilan and a specialist in crop plant physiology. The Executive Secretary is Dr. Mansour Afshar-Mohammadian, also a faculty member at the University of Guilan and an expert in plant physiology.
Educational workshops and specialized sessions related to various plant physiology topics will also be offered to interested participants. In addition, relevant companies, institutions, and organizations may request exhibition booths to present their products, services, and scientific or technological achievements.
The main topics of the conference include:
- Plant physiology, climate change, water and soil
- Plant physiology, metabolism, and plant nutrition
- Plant physiology and environmental stresses
